It measures protein biomarkers in blood to support early disease detection, including the MASTOCHECK breast cancer test, and provides PASS mass-spectrometry-based pan-omics analysis services to pharmaceutical, biotechnology and research organizations. Its DEEP platform applies deep learning to protein identification, quality control and interpretation. Through its SURF initiative, Bertis combines experimental surface-protein data with AI to discover and validate cancer cell-surface drug targets for research collaborations and licensing.

  • Cernel
    Cernel

Cernel is an Aarhus software company building AI infrastructure for ecommerce product data. Its platform imports raw supplier information, structures product attributes and categories, enriches missing information, and produces multilingual descriptions, imagery and listings for different sales channels. It connects to retailers’ product-information systems and stores, synchronises catalogues in both directions and shows the reasoning and sources behind AI-generated changes so people can review results and provide feedback. Retailers and brands use it to automate product onboarding at scale, maintain consistent catalogues and prepare products for discovery by AI shopping assistants.

  • decipHER women
    decipHER women

decipHER women develops biomarker-driven AI tools to identify the risk and biological patterns of peripartum and postpartum depression and support personalised maternal mental healthcare. It combines laboratory measurements of hormones and other biological signals with data science and clinical research, aiming to identify risk early and match care to each woman’s biology. Its own current website says the first clinical trial of its predictive tool is underway. The broader research programme studies how endocrine, immune and nervous-system changes shape women’s health.

  • MagiQware
    MagiQware

MagiQware develops AI-powered software for the fault-tolerant quantum computing stack, focusing on magic state distillation and the optimisation of magic state factories. These factories produce resources needed to execute non-Clifford operations in universal quantum computation. Its approach combines quantum information science, reinforcement learning and software engineering to automate factory design and reduce the qubit, circuit and operational resources required. The Delft company targets quantum hardware providers and full-stack computing teams working toward practical fault-tolerant systems.

  • Membrion
    Membrion

Membrion develops electro-ceramic desalination systems that continuously separate dissolved salts, metals and minerals from difficult industrial wastewater. Its membranes and integrated treatment systems help facilities recover water and valuable resources, stabilise discharge performance and expand treatment capacity within existing infrastructure. The company serves semiconductor manufacturing, metal finishing, food and beverage production and other industries facing harsh chemistries, reuse requirements and constrained wastewater capacity.

  • Oplane
    Oplane

Oplane is a Malmö cybersecurity company developing AI-powered continuous threat modelling for software and cloud infrastructure. Its platform analyses code repositories, infrastructure configuration, services, data flows and trust boundaries to map system architecture and identify security threats as software changes. It reviews pull requests and provides prioritised findings and remediation guidance through developer workflows and AI coding tools. Its agentic security capabilities also examine AI agents and MCP integrations, helping engineering teams address architectural risks during development rather than relying on occasional manual threat-modelling sessions.
