Sofia is an early-stage and growth investor at Index Ventures based in San Francisco, where she backs founders building category-defining companies in SaaS, AI, financial services, and gaming.Since joining Index in 2018, Sofia has led investments across Europe and the US. She serves on the boards or works with companies including Decagon, Dream Games, RevenueCat, Cradle, Atlar, Printify, and others.A former soccer player, Sofia is naturally drawn to founders with an athlete’s mindset—focused, resilient, and goal-oriented. Having grown up across Europe and now based in the US, she also believes that great companies can be built anywhere.Sofia was named to Forbes' Midas Brink List in 2025, which spotlights rising stars in venture capital. Prior to Index, she was an investor at EQT Ventures in Stockholm. She holds an M.Sc. from the London School of Economics.
