Pete has spent 15+ years advising global industrial companies and investing in early-stage businesses. He joined Broadscale in 2014 as its first hired investment professional, building a $150M deal-by-deal venture platform from scratch. Pete was among the earliest venture investors to recognize the opportunity in smart, connected, and distributed energy resources. During his tenure, Broadscale became the largest and earliest investor in Audigent (acquired by Experian) and took two companies public on the NYSE. Pete holds a BA in Public Policy from Duke University and lives in Brooklyn.
