Ben Small
Mr. Small joined the Investment Manager in February 2014 as Chief Operating Officer. From September 2002 to October 2013, Mr. Small worked at FBR & Co, an investment bank based in Arlington, VA. Mr. Small was a member of FBR's Operating Committee, a Partner at the firm and led FBR's Boston office as Managing Director of Institutional Equity Sales. From March 2001 to May 2002, Mr. Small worked in sales for EMC in both San Francisco and San Diego. From July 1999 to December 2000, Mr. Small worked in sales for North Systems, an internet startup company in San Francisco. Mr. Small holds a Bachelors of Arts Degree in History and German with a minor in Economics from Bowdoin College. Mr. Small is on the board of The Play Ball Foundation, which creates team sports opportunities for underserved middle school age youth in Massachusetts.
