SFPIM
Brussels, Belgium
SFPIM, formerly styled SFPI-FPIM, is Belgium’s Federal Holding and Investment Company. The public-interest stock corporation is Société fédérale de Participations et d’Investissement / Federale Participatie- en Investeringsmaatschappij, enterprise BE0253.445.063, based in Brussels. Its coordinated bylaws record incorporation on September 16, 1994, followed by the 2006 merger; the governing law dates to 1962. SFPIM provides capital to Belgian companies across healthcare, biotechnology, strategic technology, aerospace, energy, mobility, finance and impact. Its investments on its own behalf are distinguished from state-delegated assignments and subsidiary portfolios. The current public directory lists 44 operating professionals, with CEO Koenraad Van Loo and board chair Axel Miller; committee and government-commissioner roles are separately qualified. External funds in which SFPIM invests are holdings, rather than funds necessarily raised or managed by SFPIM. State appropriations, statutory capital, assets under management and commitments are not paid investment proceeds or external fund closes. The 2020 annual report records a EUR 6 million reMYND subscription, 80% paid, implying EUR 4.8 million paid; the full subscription is not cash paid, and the financing is the same event announced in January 2021. SFPIM Real Estate reports its merger into the parent in June 2026. Other subsidiary and programme identities remain distinct.
