Theodorus IV is the Belgian–Quebec venture fund launched in October 2018 within the Université libre de Bruxelles spin-off ecosystem. It backs seed and early-stage proprietary technologies in life sciences, medical technology, digital applications and engineering. Its portfolio includes NEUVASQ’s blood–brain-barrier therapeutics, DrugBank’s biomedical data platform, and other AI, therapeutic discovery and digital-health businesses. Its €38 million second close in early 2020 is an interim stage of the same fund.
