VSP Vision

Rancho Cordova, California, United States

VSP Vision is the vision-health corporate group formerly branded VSP Global, headquartered in Rancho Cordova, California. Its March 31, 2022 issuer announcement explicitly confirms the group rebrand. The group traces its origins to 1955 and brings together vision benefits, eye-care services, eyewear and practice technology. Vision Service Plan, the California nonprofit parent, and the operating corporations are distinct legal entities: the December 2024 organizational chart submitted to Oregon regulators lists Vision Service Plan (CA) above entities including VSP Global, Inc., VSP Optical Group, Inc., Eyefinity, Inc., Marchon Eyewear and Visionworks. This profile represents the public corporate group; it does not assert that every subsidiary is nonprofit or identify an unpublished subscribing subsidiary. In May 2018 NeuroVision Imaging explicitly named VSP Global among institutional investors in its actual USD11.2 million Series C first close, connecting the group to retinal imaging and Alzheimer’s-detection technology. The intended USD15 million round total is not additional closed proceeds, and the group’s individual allocation was not disclosed. VSP’s Global Innovation Center also explores eye-health technology and AI, but accelerator participation, research collaborations, provider relationships and charitable support are not automatically monetary investments. VSP Ventures is an optometric-practice transition/acquisition business, rather than a verified external LP venture fund. Public 2026 appointments include Dave Plevyak as chief insurance officer, Nicola Zotta as president of eyewear and managing director of Marchon and Marcolin, and Michele Andrews as chief medical officer; Michael Guyette remains president and CEO. The public press archive provides additional dated leadership affiliations, which are individually qualified where a comprehensive current roster or continuation could not be verified. Financial statements are offered through a registration-controlled dataroom, so no undisclosed corporate borrowing, private equity raise, external fund corpus or investment-budget figure is invented. December 2025 Marcolin acquisition and other operating-company acquisitions are distinguished from new corporate funding.
