Whittier Ventures LLC is the private investment entity expressly named as an institutional participant in NeuroVision Imaging’s May 2, 2018 Series C first close of USD11.2million; the USD15million figure was the intended total round, not proof of additional closed cash. SEC records identify Whittier Ventures LLC separately from Whittier Trust Company, The Whittier Trust Company of Nevada, Whittier Holdings, Whittier Advisors and Whittier Energy. Historical SEC filings describe it as a private investment entity, show David A. Dahl serving as president from 1996, and identify seventeen trusts as members with Arlo G. Sorensen, their co-trustee, exercising voting and investment control because those trusts held a majority of membership interests. This is a dated historical ownership disclosure, not a claim that Sorensen personally owned or paid for the institutional investments. A 2025 FundVantage SEC filing separately identifies Dahl as a manager of Whittier Ventures LLC and Liam McGuinness (spelled McGuiness in that filing) as its CFO. Their current Whittier Trust biographies and authentic portraits corroborate the individual identities, while their LLC roles remain explicitly last-confirmed in 2025. An authentic issuer board portrait and substantive biography also identify Sorensen; his LLC control affiliation is qualified as historical. The LLC’s neuroscience-related activity includes NeuroVision’s retinal-amyloid Alzheimer’s-detection platform. SnapMD’s January 2016 issuer announcement independently names Whittier Ventures in its actual USD5.3million Series A first closing; a CEO quote in that same announcement calls the investor Whittier Trust, illustrating the affiliated platform’s public terminology without establishing identical legal buyers for every transaction. No current standalone LLC website, LLC-specific public logo, comprehensive current staff directory, external LP fund close or dedicated fund corpus was verified. Affiliate trust-company assets, Whittier Advisors’ AUM and Ambrus bond funds are not assigned to this distinct entity.
