KdT Ventures is an early-stage frontier-science venture capital firm founded by physician Cain McClary in 2017. It backs companies applying science and computational tools to physical systems, from pre-seed through Series A, across life sciences, therapeutics, digital health, medical technology and industrial innovation. Its investments include clinical AI, neurotechnology, synthetic biology, materials and climate-related technologies. Managing Partners Cain McClary, Mack Healy and Phil Grayeski lead the firm alongside Partner Patrick Malone, whose scientific background includes machine learning and neuroscience. KdT supports founders with scientific diligence, company building and recruiting. Its fourth fund closed above $100 million in 2024, following an $80 million third fund announced in 2022. These are fund capitalizations, separate from company financing rounds.
