JobsOhio Ventures is the evergreen co-investment venture platform and subsidiary of JobsOhio, Ohio’s private nonprofit economic-development corporation. It invests alongside qualified institutional lead investors in early-stage healthcare and enterprise-technology companies with an Ohio operating connection, primarily from Series A onward, using direct equity and convertible debt. Its current website describes a USD250 million evergreen fund platform, patient capital across commercialization milestones and no portfolio-company board seats. This stated program capacity is not a separately dated pooled-fund closing or disclosed cash draw. The platform previously operated as the JobsOhio Growth Capital Fund; the parent’s former program URL redirects to JobsOhio Ventures, and its managing partner has served since the 2020 inception. The published portfolio includes neural-haptics company Afference, neurostimulation companies Enspire DBS Therapy and Neuros Medical, medical-imaging and clinical AI companies, and semiconductor security company Niobium. The venture unit is distinguished from JobsOhio’s broader grants, loans and economic-development programs, and unrelated syndicate partners are not investments in those fund managers.
