Investinor is a Norwegian state-backed investment company providing risk capital to businesses with international growth potential and supporting the country’s early-stage investment market. It invests directly alongside private investors, commits capital to seed and venture funds, and makes matching and pre-seed investments. Its active ownership combines financing with commercial expertise, networks and board participation across technology, healthcare, energy, aquaculture and other sectors. Based in Trondheim with an Oslo office, Investinor also administers government interests in seed and pre-seed programs and Northern Norway investment mandates. Its capital-management role includes direct company investments and investment in independently managed funds.
