Capnova is the Danish investment-management company CAPNOVA A/S, CVR14353089, formerly Østjysk Innovation A/S, based in Aarhus. Its website dates its state-backed innovation activity to1998; this operational history does not establish the legal incorporation date. It financed approximately300 innovative startups until the state innovation scheme ended in2018, then managed the roughly110 remaining investments as an exit operator during2019–2023. Today it primarily manages Midtjysk Iværksætter Fond (MIF), which co-invests with validated business angels in innovative Central Denmark ventures and currently makes no new investments. The website distinguishes this management mandate from Capnova’s few retained proprietary holdings, naming Resother Pharma and Clearview Trade. Capnova is owned by its five published partners.
