AddiFab
Taastrup, Denmark
AddiFab is the historical Danish advanced-manufacturing business Addifab ApS, CVR36456469, later renamed Nexa3D ApS. It developed patented Freeform Injection Molding: soluble molds are3D printed, filled using injection-molding materials, and dissolved to release complex components. Products combined printers, post-processing equipment, software and custom resins. Its original website dates operational founding toDecember5,2014 and names co-founders Jon Jessen, Peter Lund Sørensen and Lasse Staal; signed2019 accounts establish CEO Lasse Guldborg Staal and five directors. Those published leadership and board snapshots are explicitly historical. Nexa3D announced its completed acquisition inApril2023; the Danish legal subsidiary is distinguished from Adex's separate US Nexa3D company. Government patent assignment records document the Danish name change, while a secondary registry reports voluntary liquidation from2025; the latter has not been confirmed through the original liquidation filing. Capnova identified AddiFab as a portfolio company. Spring Nordic says it first invested2014, followed on through2017 and sold all its shares in the2023 acquisition. Mitsubishi Chemical's own September26,2019 announcement confirms its Diamond Edge Ventures subsidiary invested; its2021 report dates that investment toJune2019, without an exact closing day or amount. West Hill's own historical case documents a cumulative GBP12M EIS financing programme involving principals, private investors and Mitsubishi's venture arm; it does not establish an LLP treasury ticket, single round or exact date. Trade publications report a separate March2021 GBP4.5M round (approximatelyUSD6.3M), but original issuer closing evidence is still being sought. Acquisition proceeds, cumulative programme totals, founder stakes and partner grants are not additional equity rounds.
