Bernard Majoie (1939–2021) was a pharmaceutical research executive and entrepreneurial philanthropist. He spent more than35 years developing Laboratoires Fournier’s research activities and founded the Fournier-Majoie Foundation in2006 with part of his personal wealth. He chaired it for more than a decade before passing the presidency to his son Jérôme. reMYND’s2018 financing announcement explicitly names Dr Bernard Majoie as an existing shareholder participating in its round; this personal attribution is retained separately from the foundation and does not imply that the foundation was the subscriber. His photograph and death are documented in the foundation’s own2021 memorial.
