GlioCure is an Angers-based French biotechnology company developing investigational medicines for diseases of glial cells, particularly glioblastoma and other difficult-to-treat brain tumours. Founded in September2016 by neuroscience researchers Joël Eyer and Claire Lépinoux-Chambaud with entrepreneur Louis-Marie Bachelot, it originated in research at the University of Angers, Inserm and McGill University. Its May2026 announcement confirms continuing development of GC01.1, an injectable formulation of NFL-TBS.40-63 peptide, in final non-regulatory preclinical development for glioblastoma and brain metastases from triple-negative breast cancer.
