SATT Ouest Valorisation
Rennes, France · Brittany, France · Pays de la Loire, France
SATT Ouest Valorisation is the French technology-transfer and research-commercialisation company serving public laboratories in Brittany and Pays de la Loire. Founded in2012, the SAS is identified by own legal notices with SIREN753000611 and a Rennes headquarters. It detects and protects scientific inventions, finances technical and economic maturation, negotiates research partnerships and technology licences, and supports creation of deeptech start-ups. Its OneHealth and Advanced Sustainable Technologies units span biotechnology, devices, medical research, materials and engineering. This is a corporate technology-transfer institution and occasional direct shareholder, not an inferred private venture-fund manager. The current own directory publishes73 named professionals, including ten leadership biographies; Franck Teston has been president since October1,2025. The university shareholder pact holds50% and currently comprises11 institutions; these governance affiliations do not establish a duplicate university cash buyer. The French research ministry identifies an original EUR70M State allocation under the Programme d’Investissements d’Avenir; this maturation allocation and statutory share capital are not external LP fund closes. No independently verified pooled investment-fund corpus is assigned. Primary September2020 materials confirm entry into GlioCure’s share capital following earlier patent protection, maturation and technology transfer; share price, instrument and cash paid are undisclosed, and maturation spending is not assumed to be the later equity check. Its wider start-up directory shows supported research spin-outs, not proof that every recipient received a direct equity investment. Current own legal name and brand are distinct from other regional SATT institutions and Ouest venture managers.
