SEEDS Capital
250 North Bridge Road, #28-00, Raffles City Tower, Singapore 179101
SEEDS Capital is the Singapore government-backed early-stage technology co-investment platform operating as SEEDS Capital Pte. Ltd. Its own privacy policy, updated30July2026, explicitly distinguishes that legal corporation from its fund manager, SG Growth Capital Pte. Ltd. SEEDS was established in2001 and previously operated as EnterpriseSingapore’s investment arm; since1April2025 it operates under SG Growth Capital, the combined investment platform of EnterpriseSingapore and the SingaporeEconomicDevelopmentBoard. SEEDS and EDBI retain their own public investment-arm identities. The existing SEEDS profile is retained separately from SG Growth Capital, EnterpriseSingapore, EDBI, SGInnovate and Denmark’s unrelated SeedCapital. SEEDS co-invests with private venture firms and corporate investors into Singapore-based early-stage technology companies with intellectual property and global growth potential. Its published themes span advanced manufacturing and engineering, health and biomedical sciences, agritech and foodtech, maritime technologies, urban sustainability and the digital economy. Publicagency descriptions explicitly include AI, quantum computing and space technologies. It supports technology commercialisation rather than offering ordinary research grants to every listed portfolio company. Co-investment ratios and startup-level caps describe scheme eligibility and leverage, not an individual company check. The current official roster names five investment professionals led by DeputyGeneralManagerJacquelineChia and five investment-panel members chaired by LeeKhengNam. ParentCEOChooHengTong and EnterpriseSingaporeManagingDirectorCindyKhoo appear as panel members; their parent/publicagency titles are not assumed to be SEEDS operating roles. The legal governmentshareholding disclosure also names certain corporate directors, but its reporting date is unspecified and is preserved as a separate governance source rather than silently treated as a complete currentemployment roster. The firm deploys public co-investment capital under StartupSGEquity. Government scheme top-ups, deployment capacity, capital catalysed from partners and aggregate portfolio statistics are not private-LP fund closes. No separately verified closed LPvehicle is asserted here. The own portfolio directory provides company-domain evidence of investment relationships but does not disclose every check date, stage, ticket or whether a holding remains unexited. The2023EngineBiosciences issuer/co-investor announcement explicitly names historicalSEEDSCapital among participants in a USD27millionSeriesAextension; its2023EnterpriseSingapore affiliation is retained alongside currentSGGrowthCapital status. Investment identity audit completed October 7, 2026: two Danish Seed Capital investments and two U.S. XSeed Capital investments were reassigned to their independently verified managers, preserving original financing and participation IDs. Seven Singapore SEEDS Capital relationships remain verified. Undated portfolio affiliations disclose no additional cash raise, stage or individual ticket; Engine Biosciences retains its historical 2023 Enterprise Singapore attribution and current SG Growth Capital ownership qualification.
