Relyens Innovation Sante
Lyon, France
Relyens Innovation Santé (formerly SHAM Innovation Santé) is the dedicated healthcare corporate venture investment vehicle of the European mutual insurance group Relyens. The active French SAS, SIREN 801985995, operates as a société de capital risque (SCR) and is advised by Turenne Santé, the healthcare division of Turenne Groupe, since its 2014 launch. The corporate investing vehicle is distinct from its insurer parent and its external adviser; a named Relyens investment does not create a second Turenne cash investment. It backs disruptive biotechnology, medical devices, diagnostics and digital-health technologies addressing substantial unmet needs, including neuroscience and AI-enabled drug discovery. Its own public portfolio names DeepLife, Carthera, BrainEver and Coave among 17 current companies. Its stated initial equity range is EUR 0.5–3M, with cumulative investment up to EUR 7M per company; these ranges are not actual disclosed tickets. The own page reports over EUR 60M invested and 10 exits, which are cumulative activity metrics rather than a closed LP fund. Its public branding is the shared Relyens mark, verified on the dedicated vehicle page and on a vehicle-specific Kimialys financing release. Sandrine Pernette provides Relyens investment oversight, while Edwige Rossignol and Benjamin Reydellet are the latest official named directeurs généraux; Claire Poulard’s role is qualified as an external Turenne adviser. Parent insurance staff and all unrelated Turenne division staff are not imported as vehicle employees.
