Paris, France · Remote-first international team

DeepLife SAS is a French AI drug-discovery company founded in 2019 by Jonathan Baptista and Jean-Baptiste Morlot. Based in the Paris healthcare ecosystem with an international, remote-first team, it develops digital twins of human cells to identify therapeutic targets, model disease mechanisms and evaluate drug-repositioning opportunities. Its TwinCell causal models and Cell Blueprint platform combine single-cell multi-omics, systems biology and artificial intelligence to study interventions that could restore diseased cells toward healthier states. The company publishes exploratory research interests in autoimmune disease, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis and glioblastoma. These discovery programs are distinct from approved treatments. Its scientific and industry collaborations include healthcare and biotechnology partners. DeepLife completed a USD 10 million Series A in December 2024, co-led by YZR Capital and Relyens Innovation Santé, with the latter advised by Turenne Capital. Beiersdorf Venture Capital, Groupe Prunay and historical investors participated. A primary October 2022 announcement reports an earlier EUR 6 million financing package involving institutional investors and individual angels; the instrument mix and individual allocations are undisclosed. Earlier launch and October 2020 financing amounts are also undisclosed. DeepLife is registered in France under number 852661230.
