Nysnø Climate Investments is the Norwegian state-owned investment company backing early-stage businesses and venture funds whose technologies can reduce greenhouse gas emissions. It makes commercial equity investments alongside private investors in climate and industrial technologies, including renewable energy, energy storage, hydrogen, digital infrastructure and AI-enabled resource efficiency. Established in 2017 and operational since 2018, it is headquartered in Stavanger with an Oslo office, and supports portfolio companies with investment expertise and active ownership. Its capital base and assets under management are distinct from a newly closed fixed-life venture fund.
