Disruptive Technologies is a Norwegian IoT company developing small wireless sensors, connectivity gateways and cloud software for continuous monitoring of buildings, equipment and cold storage. Its low-power devices collect measurements such as temperature, humidity, occupancy and activity, helping customers manage food safety, healthcare assets, workplace usage and energy consumption. Founded in 2013, it combines semiconductor engineering with secure data delivery and application software. Digi International announced an agreement to acquire the company on October 1, 2026; completion remains subject to regulatory approval.
