Ladera Venture Partners
Silicon Valley, California, United States
Ladera Venture Partners (LVP) is a Silicon Valley investment firm focused on the convergence of technology and health. Its issuer-published investment mandate is stage-agnostic and includes virtual care, mental health, fitness and wellness, and applications of data and artificial intelligence to healthcare. Public SEC filings identify the investment entity as Ladera Venture Partners, LLC and identify Matthew (Matt) Krna as founder and Managing Partner. His continuing Ladera leadership is corroborated by C1 Fund’s current public director biography and 2026 annual-report filing; his other roles at Two Meter Capital and Alpha Partners are distinct organizations. Akili Interactive explicitly names Ladera as a new participant in its USD110 million Series D equity financing announced on 26 May 2021, supporting prescription digital therapeutics for cognitive disorders. A separate USD50 million credit facility accounts for the broader USD160 million financing announcement and is not treated as Ladera’s equity investment. Krna also publicly identifies SWORD Health as a Ladera portfolio company, but the exact round, investment date and ticket are not established by that statement. Ladera’s own public website currently provides its brand and contact link without a full team directory, fund vehicles or fundraising announcements. No verified closed fund sizes, AUM, additional public staff or active fundraising claims are asserted; capital raised for Krna’s former Princeville and SoftBank-affiliated firms is not attributed to Ladera.
