It invests in research-based startups across medical and healthcare fields and digital technology, using impact measurement and management to support healthier lives and social outcomes alongside venture returns. Its operating period begins October 11, 2023 and runs for ten years, with a possible two-year extension. The ¥35 billion figure reported at this close is combined firm fund assets, not the size of Fund III.
