Tokyo-based Keio University medical-school spinout founded in November 2016 that develops drugs and regenerative cell therapies for neurological disease. It uses patient-derived induced pluripotent stem cells to reproduce disease biology and screen or repurpose medicines for conditions including ALS and Alzheimer’s disease. Its regenerative-medicine programs develop iPS-derived neural cells for spinal cord injury and stroke; its KP8011 spinal-cord program was preparing for company-sponsored clinical trials in February 2026. Listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Growth Market in October 2023.
