Coolant

Coolant develops spatial AI and 3D computer vision tools for forestry, land management and carbon measurement. Its 3D Forest Vision platform reconstructs digital twins from aerial drone photographs to measure individual trees, assess timber inventory and damage, and estimate biomass and carbon. Founded in 2023, Coolant Climate, Inc. is led by co-founders Michael Wu, Matthew Zane and Belal Shaheen. In October 2025 it announced USD4.3 million in total pre-seed and seed funding, with Floodgate leading the pre-seed and General Catalyst leading the seed. Wicklow Capital and Ponderosa Ventures also participated; individual round amounts were not disclosed.
