Acticor Biotech
Paris, France
Acticor Biotech was a French clinical-stage biotechnology company founded in 2013 from INSERM research. It developed glenzocimab (ACT017), an investigational antibody fragment targeting platelet glycoprotein VI for acute ischemic stroke and other thrombotic conditions. Its legal issuer is Acticor Biotech SA, Paris RCS/SIREN 798483285; it converted from SAS to SA in 2021 and listed on Euronext Growth Paris that November. The Paris commercial court ordered judicial liquidation on January 2, 2025, announced by the issuer on January 6. Trading was not expected to resume and delisting was requested. The surviving website does not establish resumed operations or current independent leadership. The public team and historical governance/scientific sources identify 32 affiliated people across 33 qualified roles, with 19 newly verified genuine portraits and three preserved manager portraits. One further named individual, Pierre Meyers, is a source-proven investor rather than a company employee. These affiliations precede liquidation and are not a current employee headcount. In April 2024 the company reported that ACTISAVE failed its primary and secondary efficacy endpoints. Earlier safety findings, exploratory subgroups and EMA PRIME status do not establish marketing approval or efficacy. Subsequent trial status and any transfer of drug rights require independent evidence. The financial history separates paid new equity, convertible debt, government-guaranteed bank loans and historical investor relationships. The 2018 Series B contained EUR14M of new equity cash plus conversion of prior debt; the headline EUR15.3M is not recorded as entirely new cash. The 2019 extension had EUR6,716,490 of cash, while the AVCare asset exchange was in kind. The 2021 IPO and March 2023 gross increases include or permit debt setoff, so new-cash amounts remain unknown until precisely reconciled. Government programme awards, licensing payments, prospective finance and cumulative totals are not recorded as separate equity raises. Named Rinaldo Del Bono and Pierre Meyers subscriptions remain personal investments, distinguished from corporate Mediolanum funding. Buyer links are added only after full legal identity and profile verification; the remaining institutional callbacks are documented.
