Vaekstfonden

Hellerup, Denmark

Vækstfonden (Vaekstfonden, the Danish Growth Fund) was Denmark’s state financing institution for business growth, innovation and employment, founded in1992. It provided direct equity, loans, guarantees and investments in venture funds in partnership with private investors and financial institutions, including venture debt for scaling technology companies. Its exact historical legal entity is CVR16294675, headquartered at Strandvejen104B,2900Hellerup. The official2022 annual report names its final six-member board and interim CEO and provides their original individual portraits; the roster is recorded with published2022–March31,2023 historical tenure dates. RolfKjærgaard, CEOJuly2,2019–October9,2022, is separately documented for the period of Templafy’s financing. This record preserves the historical lender identity, rather than attributing its2019 cash to a later institution. Vækstfonden, EKF and Denmark’sGreenInvestmentFund became subsidiaries of EIFO onJanuary1,2023; Vækstfonden’s activities merged into EIFO fromApril1,2023 with accounting effectJanuary1. Successor DanmarksEksport-ogInvesteringsfond has distinctCVR43478206 and an existing independent Adex profile; its current personnel and financing are not duplicated or retroactively substituted. Templafy’s own annual review explicitly identifies an October2019 DKK80M joint venture-debt financing from Vækstfonden and DanskeBank; neither lender’s individual allocation or exact closing day is published. Historical Vækstfonden also administered the distinct private fund-of-funds DanskVækstkapitalI,IIandIII. Their fund capital is separate from state budgets, guarantees, total institutional engagements and the cash of portfolio companies. FundII’s2018 final close is reported approximatelyDKK3B, with exact corpus unstated; FundIII’s actual final close was announcedFebruary20,2023 atDKK2.4B, following a2021 DKK1.5B initial close, not an additional separate fund. DanskeBank announced the subsequent management transfer inDecember2024; the current primary DanskePrivateEquity history confirms actual management takeover January1,2025 by distinct DanskePrivateEquityA/S,CVR27425607. Thus these are source-qualified historical mandates, not a current independent Vækstfonden operating platform. The final statutory governance directory and named fund professionals do not constitute a recovered full historical workforce. Modern successor branding is not substituted for the authentic historical Vækstfonden wordmark extracted from its own report cover.
