55 North is a Copenhagen-based venture capital firm dedicated to quantum technologies. It invests across quantum computing hardware and software, communications, sensing, timing and the enabling components needed to commercialise quantum systems. Its mandate spans early-stage research ventures through growth companies, combining a European and Nordic focus with the ability to invest globally. The investment team pairs scientific and engineering experience with venture capital expertise to help businesses translate quantum research into industrial applications, including advanced computing, artificial intelligence and drug discovery. Its first fund completed a EUR134 million first close in October 2025 toward a EUR300 million target, anchored by Novo Holdings and Denmark’s Export and Investment Fund.
