MintPharma Capital

MintPharma Capital is a biotechnology and life sciences investment firm led by co-founders and partners Robert G. Finizio and David Adams. It targets very late preclinical and early clinical biotech and pharmaceutical companies, typically investing $2 million to $5 million in seed or Series A financings and often acting as a lead investor. Its public team also includes General Counsel Marlan Walker, CFO adviser Brian Mooney and Louie Adams in investor relations and operations. The current portfolio lists nine businesses, including neuroscience companies Myosin Therapeutics, PleoPharma and Astrocyte Pharmaceuticals, alongside oncology, genetic diagnostics and drug-delivery companies. Astrocyte named MintPharma Capital as a new investor in its $9.5 million Series B announced in September 2026. Mint12 LLC describes a strategic partnership with MintPharma Capital; the relationship does not by itself establish that the firms, or the historically named investor Mint12 Pharma LLC, are the same legal entity.
