Knit Health Technologies, Inc., branded Knit Health, is a UC Berkeley healthcare AI spinout developing a Large Clinical Behavior Model (LCBM) that learns from real clinical decisions and patient journeys. Its infrastructure layer combines behavioral cloning, causal inference and reinforcement learning to support specialist routing, patient flow, care-team allocation, clinical variation analysis and proactive care recommendations. A Truveta collaboration announced in May 2026 supports training using electronic health records spanning more than 130 million patients across 30 US health systems. The company describes privacy safeguards and HIPAA-aligned deployment, while its founders describe ongoing pilot development rather than demonstrated clinical effectiveness across all uses. Co-founders are CEO Jonathan Kolstad, Chief Scientist Maya Petersen, Co-CTO Jonas Knecht and COO Ted Robertson; the published current roster also names Sophie Pinkard, Anshul Amar, Anna Zink, Midori Uehara and engineer Zoey Ma.
