Maya Petersen is co-founder and Chief Scientist of Knit Health Technologies. A physician and UC Berkeley professor of epidemiology, biostatistics and computational precision health, she is co-director of the joint UCSF–UC Berkeley Computational Precision Health programme. Her causal inference expertise informs Knit’s efforts to distinguish observed clinician behavior from optimal patient-specific decisions.
