Berlin-based venture capital firm backing early-stage climate technology companies, primarily in Europe. Extantia invests in hardware and software for energy, industrial processes, buildings, transportation and carbon removal, generally at Seed to Series A with initial investments of €1–5 million. Its deep-technology portfolio includes robotics, trapped-ion quantum computing, green hydrogen, synthetic fuels and industrial materials. The firm operates direct-investment Flagship funds and the Allstars climate venture fund-of-funds strategy, alongside its earlier Pledge proof-of-concept fund. Extantia Climate Flagship II completed its final close at €204 million in 2024; the approximately €300 million platform/AUM figure describes combined strategies rather than another single closed fund.
