Echo Neurotechnologies
Echo Neurotechnologies is a San Francisco brain–computer interface company developing hardware and AI systems intended to restore autonomy and communication for people living with neurological disabilities. Its current official recruiting materials describe an early-stage multidisciplinary engineering and AI organisation. UCSF identifies neurosurgeon Edward Chang as a co-founder; published scientific disclosures identify David A. Moses as a director, Kenneth H. Louie as an employee, and Philip Starr as an external consultant. Those research disclosures establish affiliations rather than a complete company roster or regulatory authorisation. In June2026 Intel announced exploratory collaboration with Echo on neuro-AI, speech neuroscience, brain–computer interfaces and neuromorphic/conventional computing architectures. That technology partnership is not treated as an equity investment. A&E Investments’ official portfolio links echo.bio and describes brain–machine interfaces that allow patients to control external devices. Its October2023 partnership entry establishes an investment relationship but does not disclose a financing close, stage or cash amount. No primary-verified priced round or FDA market clearance is asserted. Echo is distinct from Echo Health Ventures, Echo Labs, Echo cloud security and Echo Protocol.
