CommonSpirit Health
CommonSpirit Health is a Colorado nonprofit public-benefit corporation and tax-exempt national Catholic healthcare institution headquartered in Chicago. The operational system was formed in February 2019 through the alignment of Catholic Health Initiatives and Dignity Health; that operational year does not establish the original incorporation date of every predecessor or affiliate. Its investment arm, CommonSpirit Ventures, backs healthcare services, technology and life-science innovation, including operational AI and access to care. Synapticure’s November 19, 2024 announcement explicitly names CommonSpirit Health as a new Series A investor, and quotes its strategic-partnerships leader Anuradhika A. The parent and its internal venture platform are represented together here; the exact legal subscribing vehicle and ticket for that investment are not publicly identified. The current official leadership, trustee and venture directory identifies 31 people, with additional advisory-council functions held by five existing executives. Its website says it is investing from its fourth fund and describes a USD250 million current programme; this is not recorded as a verified external LP-fund closing or actual capital transfer. Portfolio listings distinguish direct investment, exits, and intellectual-property/technology-transfer relationships. Membership or commercial collaboration alone is not evidence of an equity investment.
