Braingels is a community of investors, entrepreneurs, scientists, mentors and advisors supporting early-stage neuroscience, neurotechnology, AI and mental health ventures. It connects founders with expert feedback, introductions and potential angel capital across brain devices, neurological and psychiatric technologies, and wellbeing platforms. Its operations include deal flow, founder relations and expert programming. The organization describes itself as a community rather than a conventional angel syndicate; members’ personal investments and external fund roles remain distinct from a pooled Braingels fund.

Coverage: all 32 members in the own published directory are included. Two members are explicitly identified as co-founders and one as operations lead. Others have community member affiliations, not assumed employee, partner or director roles. Responsive HTML repeats unrelated hidden headings; only the 32 actual rendered card headlines were used. A separate full executive or board roster and exact corporate legal entity are not published. The administrative InvestmentFirm/Investor classification represents an investment community, not a claimed registered pooled-fund manager. The homepage and originating BrainMind ecosystem say founded at a 2020 summit. Co-founder Sunil Paul’s original November 8, 2019 post already describes an informal angel collaboration called Braingels, so 2020 is the published community founding milestone; incorporation and first activity dates remain uncertain. No pooled fund launch, capital close or corpus in 2023–2026 was found. No fund record or fundraising target is created. Member biographies’ external fund affiliations and personal investments do not establish group fundraising or firm holdings. Sanmai, Openwater, Cognixion and Wave Life are qualified leads from Sunil’s biography, rather than group participations attached to inferred cash rounds. BrainMind reports multiple ecosystem investments without a complete named round or vehicle list. The 2015 Israel Brain Technologies Braingels network and 2006 Florida Braingels Project Inc have no proven identity bridge and are not merged.
