Axogen
Axogen is a Nasdaq-listed medical technology company focused on peripheral nerve regeneration and repair. Its products include Avance acellular nerve allograft, Axoguard nerve connectors, protectors and caps, and Avive+ soft tissue matrix. The company received FDA biologics-license approval for Avance in December 2025, including accelerated approval for specified larger sensory gaps and mixed or motor nerve discontinuities. Led by President and CEO Michael Dale, its public directories list 13 executives and eight directors, with Dale serving in both groups. Axogen invested $7 million in Trace Biosciences on July 28, 2026, supporting investigational nerve-specific surgical imaging. It completed the acquisition of BioCircuit Technologies on October 1, 2026, adding the FDA-cleared NerveTape sutureless nerve-repair device. The announced acquisition agreement specified $200 million cash consideration, subject to customary adjustments, and a spin-out of BioCircuit's electronics research business. Axogen closed a $142.6 million gross public equity offering in January 2026 and priced a separate $208.675 million base public offering in September to fund the acquisition.
