ARIS Occitanie is the Agence Régionale des Investissements Stratégiques, a French mission-driven investment company supporting industrial sovereignty, local economic development and ecological transition in the Occitanie region. Created institutionally in March 2021 and incorporated as an active SAS on July 1, 2021 (SIREN901805630), it has public and private shareholders and offices in Toulouse and Montpellier. ARIS makes minority equity and quasi-equity investments, mainly alongside other investors, in companies based in Occitanie or planning to locate there. Its latest mission report describes typical EUR0.5M–1.2M tickets, approximately five-year holding periods and priorities spanning low-carbon energy, mobility, health, agroecology, digital transformation and strategic industries. Relevant portfolio businesses include AI-powered visual-recognition company LTU, autonomous agricultural robotics company Naïo Technologies and auditory-neuroscience biotechnology company Cilcare. Since February2023, the separate mostly public asset manager OCCTE has provided operational management under a service contract; the ARIS legal investment company remains the named Cilcare shareholder. Its latest report names six leadership and investment professionals, fifteen external decision-committee representatives and a mission reference; official registry records additionally name two management-board members. The 2025 report lists twenty portfolio companies, EUR32.7M deployed and EUR41M investment capacity, with a EUR50M investment ambition for2030. These are operating metrics and targets. A separate EUR4.1M corporate equity capital raise was announced by the Region on March14,2024; no outside-LP fund close is established. ARIS Occitanie is distinct from ARIS software businesses, Aris Water Solutions and unrelated similarly named investment companies.
