Preben Damgaard

Founder and former CEO (historical; died 2022) at Damgaard Company

Preben Damgaard was the founder and former CEO of Damgaard Company. He and his brother Erik founded Damgaard Data in 1983, developing business-management software; the business listed in 1999 and merged with Navision in 2000 before Microsoft acquired Navision in 2002. He subsequently held an executive role in Microsoft Business Solutions in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Damgaard Company’s own legacy biography dates the investment business to 2003 and describes his support for software entrepreneurs through capital, board work and business advice. He died in 2022. His founder and executive affiliation is explicitly historical; the earlier Microsoft transaction is not a Damgaard investment-fund close, and company portfolio relationships do not establish his personal investment allocation.
