John Harkness

John Harkness is the founder and CEO of Rewire AI, previously Rewire Neuro. He earned a behavioral-neuroscience doctorate at Oregon Health & Science University in 2015 and researched perineuronal nets at Washington State University Vancouver, where he developed Pipsqueak image-analysis software. His March 2025 legislative testimony confirms the founder and CEO role; older WSU materials describe an earlier co-founder and Chief Science Officer role.
