Jin Hyung Lee
Jin Hyung Lee is the founder of LVIS Corporation, which her company states she established in Palo Alto in2013. She is an associate professor of neurology and neurological sciences, neurosurgery and bioengineering at Stanford, with a courtesy appointment in electrical engineering. Her laboratory develops interdisciplinary methods to analyse, visualise and control systems-level neural circuits using biology, engineering, imaging and signal processing. She holds an electrical engineering bachelor’s degree from Seoul National University and master’s and doctoral degrees from Stanford, completing the PhD in2004. Stanford lists her NIHDirector’s Pioneer Award in2019. SKNetworks’2022 primary announcement also identified her as LVISCEO; the current company website confirms founder capacity without a complete executive roster. Her academic research awards are distinct from corporate fundraising.
