Gerald E. “Gary” Bisbee was a healthcare entrepreneur, author and investor. His2021 AJMC author biography identifies him as cofounder and CEO of Think Medium and host of healthcare-leadership interviews. His longtime collaborator David W. Johnson’s March14,2023 memorial records his death in2023 and career as cofounder of the Health Management Academy and Think Medium, including healthcare banking, academic and policy work. He earned a Wharton MBA and Yale doctorate in chronic-disease epidemiology. Synapticure’s February2022 launch identifies Gerald E. “Gary” Bisbee personally, with the historical Cerner affiliation, as a seed investor. This is the same healthcare leader memorialized under Gary Bisbee, not another similarly named individual; no current Cerner board appointment or corporate check is inferred.
