Chandra Vargeese

Chandra Vargeese joined Wave in 2014 and became CTO in 2020. She leads chemistry innovation for its PRISM RNA medicines platform. Earlier roles include oligonucleotide chemistry and delivery leadership at Novartis, Merck, Sirna and NeXstar. She earned a chemistry PhD at the Indian Institute of Science and undertook postdoctoral research at the University of Rhode Island.
