Prior to joining Samsung Venture Investment, Byeongcheol worked at the Korea Institute of Energy Technology Evaluation and Planning(KETEP) for over four years, where he played a key role in overseeing the overall energy R&D budget and aligning projects with national policies. He also served as a project manager in the smart grid field, evaluating and managing R&D projects. Based on his experience, he specializes in energy technology evaluation, power systems, and sustainable innovation. Byeongcheol received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Pusan National University and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Pohang University of Science and Technology.
