Zoundream
Zoundream develops AI and sound-recognition software that analyses infant cries and vocalisations to help parents understand babies’ needs. Founded in 2019 and based in Basel and Barcelona, the company licenses its technology for integration into connected baby monitors and other infant-care products, including products from Philips Avent, Maxi-Cosi and Motorola Nursery. It also works with hospitals on research into acoustic biomarkers that could support earlier screening of neurodevelopmental conditions and other infant health problems. These clinical screening applications remain under study, alongside its commercial cry-analysis technology. Zoundream announced a EUR 4 million seed round in September 2025.
