We Venture Capital is the evergreen corporate venture investment arm of Werfen, the specialized diagnostics group. It invests globally in diagnostics startups, biotechnology, and digital tools that support diagnostic workflows and clinical decisions. Its published strategy focuses primarily on Series A, with selective seed and Series B investments in companies approaching market entry or preparing to scale. The team supports portfolio companies through follow-on capital, board involvement and access to Werfen’s scientific, technical, commercial and international networks. Its investments include genomic data analysis, early cancer detection, therapeutic drug monitoring, single-molecule protein sequencing and connected patient monitoring.
