Waiv
Waiv is a Paris-based AI diagnostics company spun out of Owkin, where its team previously operated as Owkin Dx. It analyses routine digitised pathology slides to support biomarker screening, cancer-outcome prediction and treatment-response assessment. Its Destra platform integrates AI tests into laboratory workflows, while pharmaceutical collaborations develop biomarkers for research and clinical trials. In April 2026, Waiv reported IVDR CE marking for RlapsRisk BC, a breast-cancer prognostic risk test, and MSIntuit CRC, a colorectal-cancer microsatellite-instability screening test; other products have their own research or clinical status. Its Series A financing, initially announced at USD 33 million in March 2026, reached USD 35 million following an April extension involving CRB Health Tech.
