First close of INR 450 crore for a deep-tech fund managed by Unicorn India Ventures in partnership with IIT Madras and IIT Madras Research Park. The base target is INR 600 crore, with an additional INR 400 crore greenshoe; these targets are not closed capital. Four initial investments are Hathor Rockets, Quanastra, Triolt Energy and Carbelim.
