Synendos Therapeutics
Synendos Therapeutics AG is a Basel-based clinical-stage neuroscience company founded in 2019 from research at the University of Bern and NCCR TransCure. It develops selective endocannabinoid reuptake inhibitors to modulate endocannabinoid signalling for neuropsychiatric disorders. Lead candidate SYT-510 completed Phase 1 studies in 2025 and entered a Phase 2 trial in generalized anxiety disorder in May 2026. Its development strategy also addresses anxiety, mood and stress-related conditions including PTSD.
