Scale Capital

Announced development of Scale Capital’s fourth fund, publicly discussed in the manager’s July15,2026 newsletter. The planned strategy focuses on European critical technologies including deep technology, defence and AI, with institutional investors expected to have a larger role. The source says the firm is building FundIV, rather than reporting a first or final close. No committed capital, target, first-sale or exact legal form is established in this primary release. A secondary Danish registry index identifies a similarly named FundIVK/S formed inAugust2026, but that incorporation date and suffix are not substituted for the primary public announcement or treated as capital raised. No current Six Robotics investment is allocated to FundIV; the firm expressly attributes it to FundIII.

Historical third Scale Capital venture fund, legally named Scale Capital FundIII K/S in its own March6,2023 PRIIP key-information document. Scale’s own company announcement, reposted by managing partner Lars Jensen on August9,2023, states the new Nordic B2B fund closed at DKK400m, also described as$60m. DKK400m is the primary explicitly denominated amount; the dollar equivalent is not added as separate capital. The exact legal close day is undisclosed, so August9 is the public announcement date. This announcement precedes the requested October6,2023 window and is retained as historical context for the manager’s explicitly FundIII-attributed Six Robotics investment. The July2026 newsletter describes sharpening the existing fund around European critical infrastructure, deeptech,defence and AI. The separate FundIII VSO A/S product is not merged with this K/S or assigned its corpus without proof.
