SUTD Venture Innovation Fund is the Singapore University of Technology and Design’s institutional co-investment program, launched in 2022 according to its annual report. It operates through the university’s Venture and Incubation Experience ecosystem, formerly called Venture, Innovation and Entrepreneurship. The program co-invests in pre-seed and seed-stage ventures connected to SUTD students, alumni, researchers, faculty or entrepreneurship-program participants, with other investors expected to lead their fundraising rounds. It also provides fundraising guidance, investor introductions and incubation support. Its current investment portfolio lists seventeen companies, including healthcare AI company Readily, AI and data companies BetterData, Datature, Pints.AI and Staple AI, quantum-software developer Entropica Labs, post-quantum security company pQCee and robotics ventures. Readily is linked by the university to readily.co, which redirects to its current readily.ai identity; the portfolio establishes institutional backing without disclosing an exact financing date, stage or ticket. This profile represents the named university investment program, not a separately verified incorporated fund manager or independent limited partnership. The legal parent SUTD is a Singapore company limited by guarantee incorporated July 24, 2009, with public-character charity status described in its 2024/25 annual report. The authentic SUTD university logo shown on the program page is used with explicit parent-brand scope; no standalone VIF logo is claimed. Publicly named VIE affiliations include Celestine Khoo as Senior Director in the office’s own January 2026 award announcement and Weiren Loh as a program staff member, whose exact Program Manager title is directly confirmed in a historical delivery-partner case study. These are program-office affiliations, not inferred dedicated VIF investment-committee appointments or personal investment checks. A complete current VIF decision-making roster is not publicly published. Program capital allocation and actual fund closing size/date are undisclosed; broader university grants, DIVE initiative budgets, university endowment assets and separate Create4Good awards are not treated as VIF LP capital or fundraising.
